My Home in Japan, Ohaga Nishi Tanada

It has been quite cool this year 2010 in spring, and the fields are planted a bit later than usual. Many tanada have been abandoned, others have been straightened out to make it easier for mechanical tools to work in the fields (and for the elderly farmers who tend to them).

Tanada is very sad existence, because it is getting to disappear from our daily life.
It is so beautiful but has lost the power to live.

all things that is old
lost it's life
the destiny of nature

農村風景が懐かしいです。

農村は人が急速に減り 廃村が増えました。
田も畑も荒れ野山に・・

美しい田園が無くなるのが寂しいです。
