Hirokane Mansion
The owner of the copper and bengara mines lived here at the end of the Edo period. Since 1983, the prefecture runs this residence as a museum and important cultural property.
The detective story series and movie about "Yatsuhaka Mura" (Village with eight graves" used this home as a location twice. The movie "Inugamike no Ichizoku" (The Inugami Clan) also used this area as a location. Therefore it is well known to the Japanese.
Further down the road toward Fukiya is the Sasaune tunnel for digging copper.
